The Day-2 of International Yoga Festival began with simultaneous yoga sessions by the six partner institutions on the bank of holy river Ganga. Later on participants utilised the opportunity of free Naadi parikshan by Ayurveda Doctor’s team from Uttarakhand Ayurved University.
Meditation session was conducted by Dr. Veronique Nikolai, MD pediatrician from France, who is now a Meditation teacher at Heartfulness organisation and lives in chennai. She guided about the five kosha and seven chakra of Ayurveda human anatomy.
Divine session by Padmashri Bharat Bhushan was the prominent event of the day. People from all parts of India as well as from foreign countries gathered to imbibe his divine energy.
Art of Living organised a special Yoga session for joint pain.
Panel discussion on ‘Uttarakhand-Yog capital of the world‘ was the event which provided useful insights about the challenges and opportunities of Yoga services in Uttarakhand. Dilraj Preet kaur, Uttarakhand’s brand ambassador of Yoga, told about how she came from Punjab to Uttarakhand to study Yoga and could never go back since then. The spirituality of holy Ganga and divine energy of hills made her stay in Uttarakhand forever.
